Membership requirementsMembership in the Association shall be composed of persons, 18 years of age or older, who are currently or were, at the time of their application for membership, employed in an area concerned with the administration of criminal justice, persons honorably retired from a career in an area concerned with the administration of criminal justice, and persons enrolled in a program of study in the criminal justice field at a college or university accredited by a recognized national or regional accreditation association; and persons, approved by the Executive Board of Grand Chapter, involved in volunteer work directly related to the administration of criminal justice. college and university affiliationCampus Groups
ACJA‑LAE members may organize Criminal Justice Societies or Clubs on their campuses by registering with their Student Organization or Activities Office. Chapters ACJA‑LAE does not recognize individual chapters. Instead, all campus groups operate as independent student organizations under your campus' rules. Finances & Fundraising Any dues, fundraisers, or money collections must be processed through your university’s approved account or index—do not use the national EIN. Shipping of Member Materials If your campus has an active group, official ACJA‑LAE materials (pins, booklets, etc.) will be sent to your campus representative for distribution, not to individual members’ homes. |
